Feenicks

We went to Phoenix for spring break. Perfect weather (until summertime hits, and then whoa). We had fun. Lots of good food and lots of great shopping!
Brett loves his grandpa.
And daddy. Even Brynnly. See all the scratches on their faces? They only do it because they love each other.
We couldn't get them to look at the camera. But they look way excited, don't they?
The beautiful pool. And it was actually warm enough outside to get in it. Awesome.

I hit the jackpot at Nordstrom Rack. A whole rack of David Kahn jeans (my favorite)... 50% off. It was the third happiest day of my life.

I finally buckled and got a new diaper bag. I've been using this Dooney one my MIL gave me 2 Christmases ago. It's been great. It looks sorta like this one, but black. But I'm thinking I need both my hands free to chase around my little rugrat and carry all the crap we take everywhere. I got a backpack one. I know it's kind of nerdy, but Tiffany has one and inspired me.Dang cute, huh? I'm excited about it.

And I went into Bebe. I've never found anything that I like in there. We had 30 minutes to kill before dinner, so what the heck. Since I need to break out of my buying-something(usually black)-because-it's-neutral-and-matches-everything mode, I went in there and picked out the 2 wildest shirts I could find and tried them on. And I loved both of them.
Aren't those fun? Answer... totally.

Did you hoochies do anything fun for spring break?

My child looks stoned in that last picture... and sorry about the scratches! I love the new diaper bag, the colors are so cute! Seriously you will love that you switched over to a backpack, as nerdy as it may be, it has been my best purchase in years. Well like always it was fun seeing you guys, and we for sure need to plan a fun little visit next time you guys are here.

Since my life is pretty much one big spring break right now I didn't do anything fun, except I did go see Run Fat Boy Run which was laugh out loud hilarious.

Are you coming up here this week or what? Did you get the text with my new phone number and email?

Love the backpack... sometimes nerdy must happen when it's practical. I like the shirts too... and am totally envious on your amazing jean shopping.

You've totally made me wish it were warm enough to swim here!

Backpacks are the best! I love my Petunia Pickle Bottom and can't imagine chasing a kid with a purse like bag! And I think Noah has those same swim trunks-Old Navy. Cute. Fun shopping. Love the tops. Love them! Ah so spring/summery!

I hear Derrick called you a bumble bee. He was only kidding. He actually liked the shirt a lot. He wishes I would wear cuter things like that. Way to go for stepping out of the norm! I wish we could have gone to Phoenix with you! Hopefully next time!
