I forgot it was my birthday till like 2 days before, on my brother's birthday. He turned 18. My parents no longer have any minor children. They are getting OLD.
Anywhoo, Nate and I went to Utah for the weekend, with no kids. My oldest had grandma and grandpa watch him, my youngest had super expensive babysitters watch him. Win-win.
Nate planned a super fun dinner with some of my favorite peeps. It was awesome.
My sister asked me what I was getting for my birthday. I told her this one double stroller that I've wanted for a while and she's all, "Lame. I'm SO glad I don't have kids." Anyway, I'm jazzed about it. Here it is. Or I might get red. Haven't decided yet.
I'm also in the market for one of those confusing wraps that you have to watch a DVD to learn how to tie it to your body in 2,000 different ways and stick your baby in it. So, can you tell me a good one and where to get it? Thanks.AND... I think we may be coming home on MONDAY! BAAAAAAHHHHH!

I love that stroller! If I'd been more "in" when I had my second, I totally would have gotten this exact one.
And if you want a wrap, I have a Moby that has been used once. Literally, once. If you'd like it, I'll send it your way. Just email me your address.
This Monday? holy shiznit! Good for you!
I want the Baby Ktan. They sell it online at Target or they have a website. It has the best reviews of anything i have seen because it isn't so difficult as the Moby and it doesn't hurt the ol back!
Ah Phil and Ted's... how I covet the awesomeness. I'm saving up now to afford it when we finally do hatch out numero dos.
Um anyways, the wrap. I have a deep and abiding testimony of sleepywrap and I've converted many others to my baby wearing ways. Trust me, Burke will love it and you will too. It saved my life with senor cranky, gassy, refluxy, hold me all the time Nub. Go to sleepywrap.com and get one. Do not pass go, just do it. Call me if you have questions.
Love the stroller!
As for the wrap, just use a sheet and have Nate tie you a good knot. I'm sure he learned how to tie a few in boy scouts.
Love the stoller. And holy cow..Monday? That is sososo exciting! As far as the wraps go...I have only tried the Baby Bjorns and after wearing it for only 10 minuets I was in a full blown sweat...it was horrible. So back to the store it went. Well it could have something to do with the fact that Houston was 15 lbs. at 1 month, haha.....you probably won't have that problem with Burke.
Glad your birthday was good. I love that stroller. And I used this wrap http://www.mayawrap.com/
I loved it.
And I'm so excited to hear little Burke may be coming home so soon!
Let's play a game where you all suggest a different wrap and confuse me about which one to get.
Guess what? You're all winning!
happy birthday!
happy belated birthday
Happy Birthday! And Monday! Wow. That is so exciting. Yea Burke! :)
Shar, I was thinking what game you really should play is the "whatever-wrap-you-suggest-you-should-buy-me-and-i'll-try-it" game. I think that sounds like fun.
i ave that stroller. and it is the best stroller in the world. i'd even go so far as to say that my stroller and i are involved.
i have an ergo and i love it. it doesn't hurt no matter how big your kid gets. and it's easy to use.
