I'm in charge of doing activities for the girls in our ward ages 8-11 twice a month. It's called Activity Days. Appropriately named, right?
Yesterday we made cake pops. You know, Bakerella's cake pops? I pretty much worship her new book. If you don't have it, get it.
Being all of our first time making cake pops, I tried to choose the easiest one in the book. We made the cute yellow chicks, because Easter is this coming weekend. <---- Reminder to go get Robin Eggs before they're all sold out. Also, Robin Eggs are WAY better than Cadbury Mini Eggs.
The girls did great and we all had fun. Also, they were delicious.
My chick was definitely not up to par with The Queen of Cake Pops, but they're yummy and I'll take a crack at it again. Mostly because I want to eat them. All the time.

Didn't know you were in activity days. Me too. You'll need to give me some ideas. We are quickly running out. I've always wanted to try out cake pops...but am just too afraid. Good job girls.
Mmm cake pops are the bomb- they are cute and delish. Fun activity with the girls!! (Next time you come up here be sure to get some Cake Bites (coconut) from Sweet Tooth Fairy- to DIE for.) And I like Robin Eggs better too, especially because they double as lipstick.
