It's the End of Roswell, As We Know It... And I Feel Fine!

We are moving on with our lives and moving out of Roswell to some place new tomorrow and we are really excited. We are excited to be in the same town as Nathan's family and be a little closer to my family. We are going to miss Roswell, well kind of. We have met some really great people here and we are sad to leave them. I'm sad that when we're finally starting to feel comfortable and have some friends, we have to move, but.. such is life. I will say that I'm going to miss my favorite lunch hotspot, Burrito Express, very much. I might even venture back down to Roswell for a little steak supreme burrito with red sauce, but we'll see.

We are working (well, I'm on the computer and Nate is watching golf on tv) to get the house packed. It's funny when you have so much to do, you find other totally more exciting things that you would rather do, so that you don't have to do the things you need to do. Did that make sense? But we are getting there and I guess well have it all done by tomorrow. I guess we should be doing something while the baby is sleeping, but we'll probably wait until he wakes up and then he'll just want to be held when we'll need to pack boxes. Oh well.

Brett and I just came back from an exciting girls (and babies) weekend in Las Vegas. We decided to make this a yearly girls trip, with some girlfriends from Utah and from California and a couple from Las Vegas. We attended the jewelry show at the Mirage. We all had to agree that it was not as good as last year, but all fun to get together and shop and eat at Cheesecake Factory, none the less.

This is the first post to our family blog, I hope that I didn't bore everyone to tears. I hope that this will be a good way to keep in touch with all those that live far away, like us. Please keep us posted on your lives. We LOVE hearing from our friends and family.

I'm looking forward to hearing more about your life and seeing more pictures of cute baby Brett! Keep staying in touch with us. :-)
