Does anyone else bawl like a baby while watching Extreme Makeover: Home Edition, yet in the same sobbing breath, want to slap Ty Pennington silly? I thought so.
I don't have TV, but my sister is obsessed with this show. Every time she makes me watch it with her I have that EXACT reaction to it! It's infuriating.
i want to stab him in the eye every time he opens his stupid mouth!! And at the same time I wish I was recovering from cancer so I could get a new house, which is horrible, absolutely horrible.
My husband and I used to watch it every sunday, we still have some recorded on our tivo...I've cried a lot watching, so now I'm taking a brake from it...LOL...I actually like Ty, he is funny!!!
Its funny how the show makes you cry no mater who you are! I think he says the same things in every episode, thats what bothers me the most! Yet... I keep watching!
Hi:) I know i just wrote but i have to comment on what you posted because I couldn't agree with you more!!! I honestly just saw that show and thought almost those exact words!! Do you know Nate Merrill by chance?? I think it's his twin!!:)
I want to know how many of the families have taken out home equity loans on those houses? I want to know if any have sold those houses. Or if any of them have been trashed.
I like to place bets at the start of the show to see who will be the most emotional "Cheesy". The guy designer is always the cheesest, kinda like Kraft Singles. I also like Ty because he'll do a show and the family will have lost a father from a drunk driver but that won't keep him from drinkin' and drivin'. I'm waiting for them to do a show but it's the opposite. They start with a nice home and completely trash it and at the end they say something like "You got Punked...Bee.ach!" Or they could say "You got Ghettoed" Mr. T could host it!
Okay - I STILL cry every time I watch an episode... and it sounds like I'm the only weird one that still likes Ty. Although he's annoying, he has a good heart.

I feel exactly the same way except for sometimes I also want to eat off his ROCK HARD abs!! Ha ha ha... (I don't think I'm as sick as that sounds...)

I do! Sometimes he just bugs me at how stupid he is! But I TOTALLY love the show! I cry too...Nolan thinks I have some issues?!

That show is full of miracles, maybe on one very special episode Ty will be mute.

I was just thinking that on Sunday. When the show first started he was different and crazy and now he's just crazy annoying.
