Pump Up The Jam

We did it. Blackberry, raspberry, and blackberry-raspberry jam.
And it is good!
I've decided that it's almost impossible to mess up jam:
-Squish the berries.
-Measure the berry puree.
-Measure the 17 1/2 million cups of sugar per batch.
-Pour the sugar into the berry bowl and stir.
-Boil the magic jam powder.
-Stir it in the berry/sugar bowl.
-Pour it in the jam containers.
-Lick the bowl.
-And the spoon.

and... voila.
Jam for months. Can't wait for strawberry season!

ohhhh Freezer Jam. this is something I have never heard of! I think I may have to see if this is something I can do. Although, I am not sure if I have enough space to keep it in the freezer. Hmmm

Your jam looks beautiful! Take it from someone who admits to broiling TWO batches of cake mix cookies, I could probably mess up jam...:)

K I totally read your blog title and immediately started singing
'Pump up the jam
Pump it up
While your feet are stompin'
And the jam is pumpin'
Look at here the crowd is jumpin'
I even went to YouTube and watched the video! Good times!

he he he. I love the 80's!

Great job with the jam! Looks yummy! I figure with all that work, it's easier (and probably cheaper) to buy it from the store.

yum! I'm thinking you should do a giveaway of the jam...and only let those who have the name Erica Grover enter :)

I have yet to make jam...I just might have to now.

mamarazzi's sister here.
I shed a tear as I pulled the last jar of jam from our freezer yesterday. 4 more months until strawberry season is in full swing! I might have to use frozen raspberries and make more.
BTW...the poop in da shower. Freaking hilarious. Look how proud he is. well done.
