Reap What You Sew

Hi Ladies.

I'm looking for some great fabric stores in the Utah County/Salt Lake area (not that I'm coming up there soon or anything...) and was wondering what your favorite fabric stores are.

I like anything funky, vintage, retro/modern (funny how they are kind of the same thing right now), damask, black and white, and most of all... cute. Here are some samples I found:So, tell me about some fabric stores that you love.
Thanks!

I'm from Utah but live in Missouri right now. When I go home, I'm dying to check out Material Girl Quilts.

I've had several people tell me it's awesome.

Fabric stores huh? I love fabric stores because I pretend to quilt. In fact I spent many a day last week in fabric stores (my moms making a quilt for this baby in my belly). Here are a couple good ones: Elaines (right by my house), pineneedles (gardner village), broadbents (in lehi), Material girls (I've actually never been there, but heard it's cute - south jordan I think). Let me know when you go. I'd love to tag along. Call us when you're in town. We would all love to see you guys.

I have been looking for fabric for backdrops and actually found someone on Etsy...but now I can't find her. BUT there is a (new) fabric shop in Highland. But, I don't know the name. It's VEEEERY cute and hip and they have it ALL. mmmm...sorry that wasn't much help!

Well this week Joanns has ALL their cotton, flannel, etc. on sale for 50% off! Oh you better believe I was there to stock up Monday morning. :) Also, when you come to Cali again, there is a GREAT fabric store in Anaheim called M&L fabrics...it's HUGE and its so cheap, and the quality is great. So next time you make a trip down here, call me up and we'll go together!

My mom says Cornwagon in Springville has cute stuff. My sister who does the cute quilts gets a lot of her material from Mormon Handicraft. I'm sure she could give you a whole list of good stores. I wouldn't know any good ones because at this point in my life, I haven't gotten around to learning how to sew.
