You know when you haven't been to church in a while (out-of-town, sick, etc.) and it's way awkward the first Sunday you go back? (Like it will be for me this Sunday?) That's kind of how I feel about my blog right now. I haven't posted in so long and my posts have been few are far between, that I'm totally out of my groove. Will people remember me? Do I remember how to upload a picture? Anyway, enough of my awkwardness and onto some random crap. P.S. I totally appreciated the "Are you alive?" emails. You are so sweet.Today I filled my car up with gas. I have a 24 gallon tank. The gas-o-meter said I put in 24.095 gallons. ??? At least I didn't run out, so I guess I had plenty.
My little sister graduated from college. We are so proud of her. A lot of people go to school for 7 years... they're called doctors. Just kidding, Shelley. I might have gone to school longer but I'm not sure because I can't count.

I'm stepping it up a notch and we're not having toast for dinner anymore. Tonight we had tacos. From scratch. Not from Del Taco. Although I'm never opposed to Del Taco. They were delish.
The boat is all waxed and shiny and ready to go. Too bad the weather isn't cooperating. I'm dying for warm sunny weather. Are you?
I have Kaua'i pictures almost ready to put up. Because we've only been back for a whole month. I quite loved it there. Since we got married, all Nate could do was tell me how much he didn't like Hawaii and how we didn't ever need to go there. Well, we loved it and want to go back. But without kids.
The garden is almost ready to be planted. All I need is: compost, vermiculite, peat moss, my boxes to be finished by someone I am married to who shall not be named, and all of my plants and flowers. So obviously, it's coming along very nicely.
While in Utah for my sister's graduation, we brought home a Costco-sized box of Apple Beer. They are so delicious, that it's taking everything in my power not to go get one and chug it while sitting here in my bed.
So, are you planting a garden? What are you planting?
Have you ever had apple beer?
Are you ready for summer? Freaking bring it on already.

That's 6 years. And it took me that long because I am so ridiculously well-rounded that I had to try 7 majors before I found THE ONE (lucky no. 8...Business Marketing) ;) Haha...It was so great to see you, Nathan, and Brett! I had such a good time. Thanks for coming out for my graduation and for the fun party you helped plan! Love you!
oh how i have missed you...post away girl...i am listening!
dude, welcome back to this party.
i AM planting a garden, but I think I'm doing it mostly in containers this year as to avoid planting a tomato hedge like last year.
apple beer=good
izzes=better
I think I am going to plant potatoes, squash, pumpkins, zucchini, carrots and maybe some onions. I hope I can fit all of that in my tiny plot of land.
What are you planning to plant?
Taco Tuesday is the bombest!!!
Apple Beer mmmm....can I come over today and have one?
I missed you in the blog world! Freaking update your blog everyday this week....mmmmmkay?
It was great seeing you guys again. Wish we could have done more.
I want to plant a garden, but don't know how to do it. I need help. Apple beer...yum! And yes, Summer, where the hell are you?
And right now, just in case you're wondering, I'm resisting the urge to beat my child.
Welcome back! I need to update too...but really have no desire to, yet. Glad you had fun in Hawaii, can't wait to see the pics! Love the Apple Beer, my dad used to buy cases of it when we were little. I think my garden is going to consist of herbs...but we are going to 'help' in my parents garden = full access to unlimited amounts of veggies. Yum!
Planting a garden? No. Want to.
Apple Beer -- YES and yes.
Summer? MMMhm.
You were in Utah? Please to let me know next time so we can cuddle. Or someping.
I have to say that I also love apple beer, the last time I had one was New Years and it was yummy! We love Gardens, but have not had one since we moved into this house, although we would really like to have one this year, I don't know that it will happen. Glad to see you back with the blogging thing. Kassie
I do LOVE Apple Beer and should have got one with you and Ash at CS on Saturday but the water looked so good. Stew does the whole garden things and most of it is planted and we had fresh asparagus lasagne made with our very own asparagus the other night and it was DELISH! And regarding summer, it can't come soon enough!
It was fun to see you this weekend, I already miss you!
Oh, there you are. One more day of your absence and I don't know what I would have done! I couldn't sleep! I couldn't eat! Thanks for easing my mind. Congrats to Shelley!!! (p.s. I love your awkward picture. It makes me uncomfortable picturing two necked bums touching)
I was wondering if and when you were coming back! I have missed you...I agree with Jesse. Blog everyday this week. It's not like you have anything better to do right?
Apple Beer sounds soo good right now!
I just told Zach last night that I want to plant a garden. Our only problem is we eat out ALL the time so I'm worried whatever I plant will go to waste. Just like the 400 bucks in groceries every month. Maybe next year!
Apple Beer is so yummy! That sounds really good to me now. Glad you are back.
After we got home with Cam we didn't go to church for a month or so, okay maybe longer. Before we knew it the missionaries were asking friends about us. Are you kidding me?
Yes I am ready for summer!!! It has been raining for the last two weeks in Iowa. BLAH!
Yea! Congratulations Shelley. What a great feeling to be DONE! Shar, I'm glad you are back. Congrats on the garden, we have so many stinking squirrels out here, we would never get to eat any of the food. Maybe I'll try a flower garden. The flower beds grow like crazy out here. I can't wait for summer!
no matter how long the break, I always come over and have a good laugh
