Welcome To Our Home... Not!

How would you like to open your front door and see this...
What's that? You can't really see it? Here's a closer picture.
I know you just said "What the hell is that?!?" Yeah, we did too.

Nate stepped on it three times to kill it.

I actually wouldn't get close enough to look at it because I just knew it would jump on me and eat my face. So, I just stayed about 8 feet away and waited to look at the pictures, which I was still scared to do.

We had never seen anything like this so we looked it up and found out it is a Child of the Earth or a Jerusalem Cricket. It was the most disgusting thing ever. More disgusting than the scorpion I killed BY MY BED just weeks ago. And now I have the creepy crawlies and keep thinking that there are bugs all over my body. {shiver}

What is the most disgusting creature you've come across?

That freaking disgusting! Cricket on steroids for sure.

The most disgusting creature I've come across was the gigantic spider and egg sack in the bed I was supposed to sleep in in Egypt. Gives me the creeps just thinking about it!

We used to find those bugs all the time in our yard in So. Cal.. My Grandpa called them Potato Bugs. They always creep me out too(they look too much like baby aliens). They have nasty pinchers too. Joe or Nick got bit by one once.

Oh my BAD NASTY bug! SICK SICK SICK!

For me...having a spider egg sack hatch with hundreds of spiders just above your bed while you sleep had to be the WORST thing EVER!! I was dreaming and in my dreams I started to be tickeled all over my face. When I woke up hundreds of baby spiders were crawling on my face, in my nose, ears, mouth.....UGH!!! Needless to say to this day spiders freak the shiz out of me!

You know when you get the creepy crawlies just by looking at them, all of a sudden you think you feel the bugs crawling up your leg, in your hair etc....

Every time someone would come to the cosmo school {with lice} to get their hair done, we would have to turn them away and start disinfecting the ENTIRE place. Keep in mind, we are all scratching our scalps at this point because we are all convinced that we have lice now too.

I DON'T MISS THOSE DAYS!

So you don't know me from Adam, but I was blog surfing and came across your blog. PS I think you are hilarious.

We call those sandpuppies. They are the most disgusting things ever. When I was growing up I would be going to sleep and I would hear this crinkling sound, and I would go turn on a light and there would be one of those in my room. One week There were three at once. I totally get your horror.

I LIVE with the most disgusting creature I have ever come across. It's my smelly roommate who, no joke, hasn't washed her sheets in 2 YEARS!!! And she wears the same oufit several times before washing it, and NEVER vacuums her room or cleans up her own shiz. But she is out on the 19th and I am counting down the seconds. I like to call her...Christinka.

Most disgusting bug ever: the Mormon Cricket that greeted me first thing in the morning at Girl's Camp forever ago...I thought it was some B-movie sci-fi flick experiment gone horribly wrong.

One time an ear wig clamped onto my toe while I was in my laundry room. Hurt like a mother effer, and I got so mad. I get super angry when I come across bugs n stuff (worse).
