I went to Cold Stone today to get a cake for Nate's birthday. I asked the girl to write Happy Birthday Nathan on it for me. She took it to the back to have it done.This cute little semi-old lady brought it back out with Happy Birthday Nathan on it, in pink frosting. It's cool, Nate likes pink. She said, "Oh, someone is having a birthday today. How fun!" I told her that it was my husbands birthday, and we having some family and friends over for dessert. She told me that it was her younger brothers birthday too and he turned 46 today. I said, "No Way! So did my husband!"
Her jaw about hit the floor. I lasted about 2.3 seconds before I busted out laughing. I think she was so relieved I wasn't married to someone old enough to have fathered me, she joined in on the laughter. (What? Lots of women marry guys almost twice their age. Yeah, they're called gold diggers.) I'm still laughing about it. I hope she is too.

well crap. I just realized that I should have had my phone on the last two days. I was in hidding from the world and I just saw that you called and I am sure it had to do with his bday! What a bum I am. We love Nate.... Happy 46th! I hope it is a good one and hope you saved me some pink frosting! How about a date tomorrow? Going out of the country this weekend? How about you get me out of my house and off photoshop!

Bret is turning 31 this year....yikes...so I guess that makes me a gold digger? Or Bret one of those RM's who come home and marry someone 5 years younger than them....He was on his mission when I was starting 9th grade....ewwwwwww :D

That was some good cake! I have to say, Rock Band hit a new high last night. I think we really gave Metallica a run for their money.
